Invitation to Bid

The Fulton County Transit Authority will receive sealed bids for One (1) to Eighteen (18) Model Year 2024 Eight (8) Passenger and (4) Four W/C Positions plus Driver vehicles. Vendors must sign the Federal Model Clauses, Pre-Award Audit, Vendor Agreement and be registered and active in https://sam.gov/SAM/ .  Bidders are advised that bids submitted as part of this bid offering may not be withdrawn for a minimum of 90 days following the public bid opening. Bid specifications may be obtained by contacting Kevin Kelley at k.kelley@fultontransit.com

 

All bids must be turned in to the Office of the Executive Director, Fulton County Transit Authority, 302 Eastwood Drive, Fulton. KY. 42041 no later than 10:00 a.m. CST on March 22, 2024.  Bids cannot be accepted at any other location.   Bids will be opened thereupon or about 10:00 a.m. CST, on March 22, 2024, in the office of the Executive Director, 302 Eastwood Drive, Fulton, KY. 42041. Bids must be received by the designated date and time, and none will be considered thereafter.

 

FCTA hereby notifies all bidders that in consideration and award of a contract that a minority

or disadvantaged business enterprise will be afforded an opportunity to participate in

response to this advertisement and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race,

sex, creed, religion, color, or national origin.

 

All quotes are subject to a financial assistance agreement between FCTA, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s Office of Transportation Delivery, and the Federal Transit Administration.

 

The Fulton County Transit Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, and to select that bid which it determines to be in its best interest.  The award of this bid will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated bid price as permitted in KRS 45A.365.  Questions should be directed to Kevin Kelley at 270-472-0662 or k.kelley@fultontransit.com by March 12, 2024.

The Purchase Area Transit Authorities (FCTA-Fulton County, MCTA-Murray-Calloway County, PATS-Paducah) will conduct a coordination meeting to solicit input on public transportation services offered in the region on February 23, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Purchase Area Development District (PADD), 1002 Medical Drive, Mayfield, Kentucky. If you would like  to attend online, please contact PADD 270-247-7171 prior to February 23, 2024 for web link and online meeting information. All interested parties, including users and providers, are encouraged to attend this virtual meeting. A survey can be completed at https://forms.office.com/r/8QiXksgeC6.
